Chemspec-API is your strategic partner in manufacturing APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates. Operating in Fairfield, NJ since 1997, we offer comprehensive, quality, cost-conscious services from process research and development through to commercial production under cGMP conditions. Our services are supported by a comprehensive quality system and we have an excellent compliance record, with seven FDA inspections completed since 2001.
Access to extensive resources with our parent company, Shanghai Chemspec, provides clients with a range of cost-effective options including bulk manufacturing, while project management remains in the US.
Milestones:
- 1997 – API Inc. founded by Roche veterans at Spielman Road, Fairfield, NJ
- 2001 – First FDA inspection completed
- 2009 – Joint venture formed with APAC, Sinova, and Acesys
- 2010 – Operations moved to current site at Industrial Road, Fairfield, NJ
- 2011 – First FDA inspection completed at new site
- 2011 – Collaboration started with Shanghai Chemspec
- 2012 – Chemspec-API formed as joint venture of Shanghai Chemspec Corp. and API Inc.
